The Simco-Ion 4050556 is a voltage detector used to indicate if there is high voltage present on the ionizing emitters or charging points.
Note: This item is a replacement for the discontinued static bar checker (P/N 4000004). This new and improved voltage detector (P/N 4050556) works exactly the same as the old static bar checker with the exception that it works with both AC and DC ionizers. The old static bar checker only worked with AC ionizers.
Simco-Ion 4050556 Features:- Detect if high voltage is present without making contact with item being tested
- Tip is illuminated when a voltage is detected
- Minumum testing distance:
- 3.3kV: 3/16" (5mm)
- 4kV: 1/4" (6mm)
- 5kV: 3/8" (10mm)
- 7kV: 1/2" (13mm)
- 10kV: 13/16" (20mm)
- 30kV: 3-1/8" (80mm)
- Power requirements: 2 AAA batteries (included)
- Operating temperature: 14°F - 122°F (-10°C - 50°C)
